The Lane Community College (LCC) Energy Management-Building Controls program is collaborating with the Oregon State University (OSU) Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) on a recently funded US Department of Energy award to create the Small Comercial Building Assessment Center. The purpose of the center is to train LCC and OSU students to perform commercial building energy audits for small/mid-sized buildings with less than 100,000 square feet. The team will jointly develop curricula for building energy auditing as well as providing hands-on experience for students from both institutions. The team will prioritize assessing and making recommendations for energy efficiency improvements for buildings in underserved areas.  https://eec.oregonstate.edu/
