Why do I have to pay a transportation fee for an online class?

You shouldn't! Only students who attend classes in-person on Main Campus or Downtown campus must pay this fee. However, As of July 1 2017, there is a specific online class fee that goes to directly support online student services likethe Academic Technology Department.
