Are there any scholarships available?

Yes! Students are eligible to apply for a number of scholarship opportunities through Lane Community College and potentially through The American Public Power Association's (APPA) Demonstration of Energy & Efficiency Developments (DEED) education program.

Through the DEED program, participating utilities offer students $2,000-$5,000 for educational scholarships, student internships, student research grants, and technical design projects. Applicants must be full-time students attending an accredited college/university or vocational institution within the U.S. and must not be graduating within 12 months of the application deadline.

APPLY EARLY as some scholarships are on a first come-first serve basis and or have early deadlines (4-6 months before beginning fall term)
